Process ROI Analyzer

1. Overview

Process ROI Analyzer is a lightweight web application that helps you evaluate the Return on Investment (ROI) of business processes modeled in BPMN format. You can upload one or more .iterop archives (zipped BPMN exports), analyze them, and instantly generate an interactive ROI report with detailed charts and key metrics.

The tool automatically calculates:

Monthly costs and savings
ROI percentage and payback period
Break-even point (number of process instances required)
Task counts by type (User, Service, Script)
A visual BPMN diagram preview and a downloadable PDF report

All uploaded data and generated reports are automatically deleted after 24 hours to ensure your privacy.

2. Required Inputs

Step 1 — Upload your files

Click “Add .iterop files” on the main page.
Select one or more .iterop archives (BPMN zipped exports).
The application automatically extracts and reads all included BPMN diagrams.

Step 2 — Enter parameters

Before running the analysis, fill in the required data:

Avg Time*
- Avg User Task (minutes): Average time for users to complete manual tasks in the process (you may enter a range such as “2–3 min”).
- Or Avg Process Time (hours): Total average time to complete the entire process.
User Hourly Cost (€)* — The hourly rate of the users/employees performing the process.
Instances / Month* — The number of times the process is executed per month.
Agent Management — Number of 3DX licenses including the Enterprise Integration Architect (PFI) role (allows agent creation and use of internal 3DX APIs). Default: 1.
BPO Licenses — Number of 3DX licenses with the Business Process Player (BPO) role (start/complete ITEROP tasks).
BPR Licenses — Number of 3DX licenses with the Business Process Designer (BPR) role (design ITEROP processes).
One-time Process Cost (€) — Design or purchase cost of the ITEROP process.
Amortization (months) — Number of months to amortize the process cost (if “One-time Process Cost” is provided). Default: 12 months.

These inputs are used to calculate overall savings, ROI, and payback metrics.

Step 3 — Run the analysis

Click “Run Analysis” to start the computation. Within seconds, an interactive ROI Report will appear in your browser.

All charts are interactive — you can zoom, pan, and hover to view details. The report automatically adapts to light or dark mode based on your system theme.

5. Privacy and Data Handling

Uploaded files, results, and contact emails are automatically deleted after 24 hours.
Data is processed only on MBA Innovation’s secure servers.
No information is shared with third parties.

On first use, a Privacy Notice appears — you must accept it before proceeding. Your consent is stored locally (roi_privacy_ack_v1) and can be revoked at any time by clearing your browser storage.
